The porcelain enamel steam cooker set puts an end to mushy vegetables and dry compromises. Instead: vibrant colours, perfectly cooked fish, tender dumplings, fresh vegetables. Everything is prepared gently, evenly and effortlessly. With a stacked cooking approach, water is added to the bottom pot. As it heats up, steam is created and rises upwards, gently steaming the stacked levels and their contents. And the best part? Cooking doesn’t just happen at the base, but also along the walls. Porcelain enamel is an excellent heat conductor and distributes heat evenly throughout the entire pot – for fast results that feel just as good as they taste. Efficient, energy-saving, thoughtfully designed: Stacked cooking and steaming in porcelain enamel stand for a conscious, modern kitchen: multiple levels, one pot – without any additional electrical appliances. This makes it possible to prepare up to two meals at the same time, in an energy-efficient and vitamin-preserving way. Ingredients remain exactly as they should be The flavour-neutral, non-porous procelain enamel surface is hygienic, durable and particularly easy to clean. While materials such as bamboo are sensitive to moisture in everyday kitchen use, porcelain enamel – glass fused to iron – stands out with its non-porous, bacteria-inhibiting surface. It preserves the pure taste of ingredients and combines timeless design with uncompromising functionality. More than a pot, multiple options included: The set does more than just steam. The bottom pot also functions as a casserole, while the inserts can be used flexibly as a vegetable or pasta colander. As one system with many possibilities, the steamer is a sustainable solution for those who choose to live consciously and simply, cook flexibly and rely on long-lasting materials – today more than ever, a true statement in the kitchen.
Before first use: Remove the sticker, fill with boiling water and vinegar, and let it sit for a short time.
Cleaning in the dishwasher: RIESS enamel can be washed in the dishwasher. However, we recommend hand washing to ensure long-lasting enjoyment of enamel’s brilliant shine. If you use the dishwasher, select the gentle glassware program to preserve the gloss and vibrant colors of the enamel for as long as possible. For sparkling clean pots and pans, use the gentle glassware program and the cleaning products from our partner Claro. You can find all tips on dishwasher care in this video.
- Before cleaning off food residues or burnt-on remains, fill the still-warm cookware after cooking and emptying with warm – never cold – water and dish soap. After a short soaking period, the cookware can be cleaned effortlessly.
- For particularly stubborn or burnt-on residues, briefly boil water with dish soap.
- For cleaning, use RIESS Enamel Care or a mild scouring milk, as well as the smooth side of a sponge or a soft brush.
- Avoid using wire brushes, steel wool, abrasive powders containing sand or sponges with ceramic particles.
More helpful care tips
- Store the cookware well dried. Any lime stains can be easily removed with vinegar water.
- If flash rust appears on exposed enamel edges or the rim, it can be easily removed with dish soap.
- Exposed enamel edges can be re-oiled from time to time with cooking oil.
Shaded colours in enamel – that is the idea behind the two series Nature Green and Nature Blue. The three fine colour nuances Light, Medium and Dark of the enamel pots and saucepans as well as the baking and roasting pans and bowls create a coherent and harmonious overall picture that fits harmoniously into many kitchen ambiences. The fine, nordic-style colour nuances create a wonderful overall picture and bring colour into the kitchen.
